CHRISTMAS

This a photo of Stuart's daughter Freya who spent some of Christmas day with us. Freya and I kept getting a fit of the giggles and kept getting told off. It was all good fun and we had a really lovely day.

I was really spoilt and didn't do a thing all the time I was there which was lovely. It was so good I have booked in again for next year.

Well I don't know about everyone else but I am itching to get Christmas Dec's away and craft things back out, my house doesn't look right without bits of craft everywhere.

This picture is a lovely picture of Robbie & AJ at the party at RWS on Saturday. Jane and I cheated by buying the hats and not making them. They look better on you two than us.

I had a really good afternoon and lots of laughs. Then went to Jane's for a lovely tea.

I think I have over done it in the last few days as my ankle was really painful all evening and in the night. I am going to have a restful day today, doing nothing, oh but will have to do some cooking on cooking world lol.

6 MORE SLEEPS

My grandchildren are now on count down to Christmas, I love it when children do count down in sleeps.

The magic of christmas is wonderful though childrens eyes, I missed it all when my daughter grew up but have now got it back through my grandchildren, don't want them to loose it.

I am going away for Christmas this year the first time I have done this, so have got mixed feelings about it. I am going to spend it with my friend Stuart in Brough not to far away though.

My ankle is not much better it is still swollen and painful and many different colours. I had to have another xray last night on the advise of the nurse at my GP's. Spent 2 hours in A&E but with the company of Jane & Jess it wasn't boring. Jane you have the most odd sense of humor and make me laugh so so much you are a tonic. And Jess thanks so much for taking me I know you don't like driving in the bad weather , but you were a star.

Sorry it's been a while since I last updated my blog. Like everyone else I have been trying to finish all my Christmas cards and buy the presents. Which I am pleased to say are now done,

On Sunday I thought I would put the tree up in the morning and was going to spend the afternoon with some friends. As all well planned days it didn't happen like that. The tree went up ok although doesn't look as good as usual, then disaster struck I fell in my kitchen and badly sprained my ankle. So spent Sunday afternoon with friends but in casualty well at least I saw them.

I am hoping and praying that it is soon better and I can get out and about again. I have worked really hard this year in trying to loose weight and have managed to loose 3st 4lbs, and am really looking forward to having some new clothes (especially a little black dress) to wear when I go out and want to feel good.

Well the ankle is beginning to get better but I am known for being impatient and want to be running about instead of taking it easy. I am trying I have promised my very special sister in-law Lorna and very special friend Stuart that I will. (it doesn't help that they are both nurses).

IEASHA'S BIRTHDAY

This is the card I have made for my granddaughter Ieasha's birthday. She will be 11 tomorrow.

Anyone who knows Ieasha will know that this card is just her. I cannot believe that she will be 11 the years just seem to fly past. Have a lovely birthday darling.

Well I have nearly finished all my Christmas cards and am looking forward to having a break, but I am sure after a few days I will be wanting to get it all out again.

IEASHA

This is my granddaughter Ieasha making her Christmas cards. We had a lovely evening last night, we had tea then settled down to make some card.

I am a very messy crafter as you can see from the table, Ieasha really gets annoyed with me as she cannot find anything and wonders how I manage to craft when everything is in a mess, but if I tidy up I cannot find anything. I am sure other people find this as well.

Ieasha is getting really good at card making and forgot to take photo's of her cards to share here, but she will be back again to make some so will share them then.

Sorry my blogs have not been very frequent lately but with Christmas shopping and making the cards it is a very busy time for everyone, but I will try to keep them more regular (just for you Jane).

Well I better go and make some more Christmas cards at least all my presents are now brought. Thanks for your help with this Jane it is very much appreciated.
